I am Catholic, and I want to become a Catholic Jew. Or Jewish, with the beliefs of Jesus Christ. Any advice?

There is WAY to much domestic, and public verbal and physical abuse due to different Christian Denominations. I am TIRED of this! There is not 100,000+ demoninations, and I am 14. Advice?I am Catholic, and I want to become a Catholic Jew. Or Jewish, with the beliefs of Jesus Christ. Any advice?
Jew's don't accept Jesus. Islam, is Christianity and Judaism put together. In Islam, they believe in Jesus just as God's prophet, and messanger and follow his teachings. the only differences is that they don't believe in the trinity (and if you think about it, the trinity doesn't make much logical sence) and you can answer any question about science or religion with Islam.I am Catholic, and I want to become a Catholic Jew. Or Jewish, with the beliefs of Jesus Christ. Any advice?
bc of ? I am married and my husbanad is of another religion but no one will ever change my mind about Jesus .......and like the first ans u got JEWS DO NOT BELIEVE IN JESUS...if u are being mistreated bc of ur religion that give u more a reason to be strong in what u believe in.........DONT LEAVE JESUS
Sorry, this isn't possible. If you believe that Jesus was any sort of messiah then you **cannot** be Jewish at the same time. Judaism and belief in Jesus are incompatible. Period. ';Messianic Jews'; are by and large evangelical Christians who are merely attempting to convert unsuspecting Jews to Christianity.
You don't have to be a part of a specific denomination to be saved. Just do your own thing. I personally hate religion, but I love God. The only thing religion does is give you rules and guidelines on how to worship God which is stupid. If you believe in God and have a passion to know him, then forget religion and follow him. I'm 16 and was truely saved this year.
The two are complete opposites. You CANNOT be Jewish and believe in the divinity of Jesus or that he is the Messiah.

JUDAISM

- says that all humans are born pure, and innocent

CHRISTIANITY

- some say that all humans are born with 'original sin'.

JUDAISM

- says that G-d would never allow/enable a 'virgin birth'

CHRISTIANITY

- says that Mary gave birth, though a virgin

JUDAISM

- says that no man gets a 'second coming'

CHRISTIANITY

- says that Jesus will have a 'second coming'

JUDAISM

- says that every human should speak directly to G-d

CHRISTIANITY

- Jesus claims in the 'new testament' that the 'only way' to G-d is via him

JUDAISM

- says G-d is one, indivisible, cannot be separated into three

aspects/incarnations

CHRISTIANITY

- some sects speaks of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

JUDAISM

- says that we are ALL equally G-d's children

CHRISTIANITY

- says that Jesus was 'god's son' above all others

G-d's control

CHRISTIANITY

- describes 'Satan' as a devil and 'fallen' angel

JUDAISM

- the 'messiah' will be a normal, mortal man who must fulfill all the

Jewish messianic prophecies in one normal, mortal lifetime

CHRISTIANITY

- Jesus was the 'messiah' and will fulfill the prophecies when he 'returns'

JUDAISM

- says that the righteous of ALL faiths will reach 'gan eden' or

'garden of eden'.

CHRISTIANITY

- some Christians insist that only those who 'know Christ' can reach heaven

JUDAISM

- forbids Jews from trying to convert anyone to Judaism

CHRISTIANITY

- believes in actively 'witnessing' and encouraging people to convert

to Christianity

JUDAISM

- no concept of original sin

CHRISTIANITY

- some sects of Christianity believe in “original sin” to justify the

need for a savior. Others believe that humankind cannot keep from

sinning and requires a savior to cleanse them.
I see you majoring in comparative religion when you are in college. have fun.
A Catholic Jew? How about a Hindu Muslim?
Become a Messianic Jew, they're just Evangelical Christians but the call themselves Messianic Jews

Real Jews don't believe Jesus was anybody of any significance what so ever, so if you think He is god or the Messiah, they won't have you
You can't believe in Jesus and be a jew.
there is no way....catholics/christians believe jesus has already come....jews believe he hasn't come yet....it's all a bunch of crap....jesus is NEVER going to come and he NEVER has...
Ask yourself what does a jewish god ask of his followers and what does a catholic god ask of his followers? strip away the dogma and ritual isn't it really the same.... if God is so omnipotent and great how can one religion believe it knows the true face of god....maybe all religions are just different views of the same god. If Jews worship the right cheek catholics worship the left cheek isn't it still the same head of all religions ?

Look into Messianic Judaism.

%26lt;%26lt;There is WAY to much domestic, and public verbal and physical abuse due to different Christian Denominations. I am TIRED of this! There is not 100,000+ demoninations, and I am 14. Advice?%26gt;%26gt;

';Our hearts are restless until they rest in thee, Oh Lord'; - Saint Augustine.

Historically, the Jews are the most persecuted people in the world. And you want to escape persecution by becoming a Jew?

You won't escape ANY abuse merely by changing religions, not in this world.

Find God, and He will make the burden of this ';abuse'; easier to bear.
Jews don't accept Jesus.
If you're really 14, my advice to you is to read a lot of the bible, old %26amp; new testaments. Judge what you read for yourself. The older people will tell you again %26amp; again what they think it is supposed to mean, but they will argue amongst each other on major %26amp; minor issues.

You will, as you get older, hear about those people who call themselves, ';recovering Catholics';. I would hope you could understand that by then. I wish there were not only a lot more recovering Catholics, but a huge amount of recovering Jews %26amp; Muslims too.

People are people %26amp; no group is better, or worse than any other. People are influenced by their surroundings %26amp; will glide towards certain beliefs %26amp; behaviors. The people who are brave enough, %26amp; strong, will start to question the things they are told by the so-called authorities as they get into adulthood. We are all given that wonderful gift of analytical analysis abilities. As you get older %26amp; more educated, you will start to be able to figure out things for yourself. No matter which way you go, you'll have lots of people on your side. I lean towards cooperation, forgiveness, %26amp; a serious attempt to find the best ways to live. To me, everyone is my brother %26amp; sister.

I'm quite imperfect too, but I'll never stop trying to get better.

Good Luck...:)
Jews in general do not believe if Jesus. Anyone who believes in the Gospel of Jesus is a christian. Jews that believe in Jesus are ';Messianic Jews';. However because they believe in Jesus then technically they are christian as well. Being Jewish is more of a race/nationality than it is a religion. The jewish religion is really Judaism. So whether you are American, African, Russian, European, or Jew doesn't really matter. If you believe in Jesus you are a Christian. My advice, just be proud of who you are
That's called a Messianic Jew, one who adheres to many of the Jewish tenets and statutes but also follows the New Testament principles and above all recognizes that Jesus was the Messiah

From the website:

We desire to encourage both Jewish %26amp; Gentile believers to grow in their faith, their walk with Messiah, and their appreciation of God's eternal covenant relationship with the Jewish people. This site contains many pages of evidences showing that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah promised in the Jewish Bible and resources to teach and promote Messiah centered, sound Biblical beliefs within our Messianic movement. Although just 5 years old, AMC is already home for 12 like minded Congregations who share these values. We have been developing strategy and resources to help in building our movement, and several member congregations have benefited. We feel that we have something unique to contribute, while valuing the contributions of all who have been used of God to help build our Messianic Movement.
Why not become Born Again for Jesus First?? Then He will Guide you to where He wants you to go!
