Question for Fellow Catholics, Advice needed?

Can anyone give me advice on Home Alters, I want to have one set up at home for quiet and Prayer/Worship time with the Novenas too, any advice please?

just set up a small table in a quiet out of the way place. You'll need candles, a crucifix or cross, and a picture of Jesus. You can have Mary and other saints included on the table. Have a bible and several prayer books. Also you can have holy water and blessed salt too. If you wish, you can have your priest come over and bless it for you. Also have a kneeler to kneel on unless you want to kneel straight on the floor.Question for Fellow Catholics, Advice needed?

Pictures,Pictures,Pictures if you decide to use statutes make sure they are above eye level. Private prayer is essential Your Home should be a sacred place however A Church with an Altar and Mass is also essential in proclaiming your faith and showing your face in times where so many hide for fear of persecution and judgements. Though I am not Catholic, family is, I can answer some of this. For one, alters (personal ones) are usually done by the Mexican catholics. Most Catholics do not have actual alters, though they like quiet places to pray and say novenas. (this is why I like Wicca. You can worship anywhere without a set place). I would say a small area set up in a corner of a garden would be a good place to pray or say novenas, it is also a good place to worship since that is where Adam and Eve would talk to God. It is a personal choice I would think and out in nature I feel the closest to the Deity.
You can create your own if you like. Or I'm sure you can buy one. But most people use a small table that they particularly like. The candles, statuary or whatever can be bought in any religious supply store.
You need to no big stuff, if you are sure 100% percent that god will listen to you, you only need to put your mind focused to him, and he will listen.
