Who would you rely more on for advice -- the Catholic Pope or the Baptist Grand Wizard or other holy leader?

Include in this question the Mormon Special Prophet, the Lutheran Luminate, the Methodist High Priest, the Orthodox Omnipotentate, and the others.

What supreme leader of the world's foremost denominations would you trust for your religious advice on essential questions?

And is there any one of them that you definitely would NOT listen to?

And why?

.Who would you rely more on for advice -- the Catholic Pope or the Baptist Grand Wizard or other holy leader?
is there a non-Catholic Pope ? dang, the things you learn from cute and cuddly drooling dullards on Y!A...

thanks for sharing...Who would you rely more on for advice -- the Catholic Pope or the Baptist Grand Wizard or other holy leader?
The books I read, when I think of it...but they have to have that imprimature on it in order for me to believe it, and nevertheless every disclaimer on those writings are: this is not necessary for the salvation of your soul, but it doesn't hurt you on your way.

The Pope's encyclicals were written by a dry wind.

and except for the patriarch of the Eastern Orthodox, I didn't know there were church leaders of other denominations, (Oh, and Queen Elizabeth, of course...!) I really like Queen Elizabeth.

I'm sure all those leaders have a modicum of Wisdom.
Great Question!

At this time in the world's existence we now need God inspired qualified religious leaders to enlighten us on our last journey on this earth more so than ever.

But, where are they?

There are a few mainstream Christian churches that do preach and teach truths pertaining to pagan festivals in the Christian Church and other Church doctrine. (The Living Church of God and The Seventh Day Adventist) and others that are just an Internet click away from learning more about and studying with.

I personally would not ask for or take advice from a corrupt system such as the Roman church's Pope or the Baptist Grand Wizard or any other so-called holy leader.

The best thing that I have found is reading and studying the Holy Word of the Almighty and occasionally I happen across a church or two that holds the Scriptures to the standard that they were intended and I will look into it.

But for the most part I have not found a church or a leader that I believe I would put my trust into.

It's kinda of ironic in a way to think that people all over the world make it known that they distrust; politicians, doctors, attorneys, car dealerships, bankers and so on.

But, with their eternal soul they readily and nonchalantly trust a mere man that has no more Heavenly authority or capabilities than a a blade of grass.

Be Blessed:-)
The catholic pope only gives sound doctrine that the church has agreed on and supported be the cardinals.

The Pope's advice may not be any better than yours,

I try to learn from and respect others beliefs and advice and views

I try to understand your thoughts, but Only follow the teachings of the roman catholic chjurch spoken to me through the Holy Father
Mahatma Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, or Jesus. Buddha as well. I would listen to them and then discern for myself.
As a Catholic, the Pope.

John 21:15-17 states:

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ';Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?'; He said to him, ';Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.'; He said to him, ';Feed my lambs.';

He then said to him a second time, ';Simon, son of John, do you love me?'; He said to him, ';Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.'; He said to him, ';Tend my sheep.';

He said to him the third time, ';Simon, son of John, do you love me?'; Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, ';Do you love me?'; and he said to him, ';Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.'; (Jesus) said to him, ';Feed my sheep.

Matthew 16:17-19 states:

Jesus said to him in reply, ';Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.';

The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the ';rock'; of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.

The Pope is the senior pastor of 1.1 billion Catholic Christians, the direct successor of Simon Peter.

The Pope鈥檚 main roles include teaching, sanctifying, and governing.
